In the RetkIi co-op project the majority of trails, paths, routes, also their included structures and infrastructure, used for muscle powered locomotion are inspected and documented thoroughly around the Iijoki river drainage basin at the Ii, Oulu and Pudasj\u00e4rvi municipalities. Locals and local businesses are also included in the process with stories, expectations, priority selection and land\/water ownership clarification. New up-to-date trail data will be produced as well.<\/p>\n

The results will produce a report which lists all inspected targets and their possible needs for maintenance, repair and\/or rebuilding.<\/strong> The report will serve as a means for future projects to renew the outdoor recreation opportunities of the area.<\/p>\n

The project is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The funding was granted by the ELY-Centre and the Oulu Region Leader. The total amount of funding is 70\u00a0056\u20ac.<\/em><\/p>\n

The project is coordinated by Micropolis ltd.<\/p>\n
